Kawasaki has issued a recall of certain 2009 Vulcan 2000 motorcycles.
These motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." The headlamp assembly includes multiple bulb and lens elements. The noncompliant headlamps were assembled with lenses incorrectly positioned, affecting photometric performance.
18 units have been affected.
